One of Scotland’s most successful regeneration projects, Lomondgate started life as a derelict piece of wasteland. Over the past decade it has been transformed into a major business, tourist and residential location which is home to BBC Scotland’s River City Studios, a Premier Inn, Scotland’s first Costa Coffee drive-thru and Aggreko’s new £20m production and office facility, visited by Prime Minister David Cameron. More than 300 houses are being built on the site and planning permission has been granted for a business park.
Loop has been working with development partners Walker Group and Strathleven Regeneration Company since the early days of the project. Our campaign has covered all the major development milestones from the early planning applications to welcoming the buyers of the very first homes to be built there. We have been involved in all aspects of the media campaign including stake holder newsletters and public meetings, press trips to the site and road openings.
